A New Eyeshadow Palette

Sunday, 28 May 2017

You may have looked at the title of this post and thought, 'Olivia, another new eyeshadow palette??'... well, I haven't actually purchased eyeshadow of any kind since I bought my Anastasia Beverly Hills 'Modern Renaissance' palette around January, and what's more, when I got a glimpse of the eyeshadow palette that I'm featuring in today's post, I just couldn't resist adding to my ever-growing palette collection once again!

Whenever I'm in Superdrug or Boots, I do like to have a little peek at the Sleek counter, as after purchasing my Solstice highlighter palette a few months ago, I have found myself rather in love with a lot of their products. Anyway, pretty much as soon as I reached the stand, I noticed the rather beautiful i-Divine Original eyeshadow palette, that especially caught my eye due to it being packed full of gorgeous shimmery shadows.

It didn't take a lot of thought for me to pick up and buy myself said palette, as for only £8 I did think that such a product from a decent brand like Sleek is a pretty good deal. However, I did pretty much buy this eyeshadow palette with the intention of taking it on my holiday to Italy in the summer, as with so many cute, bright colours inside, I just know that I will be able to create all manner of summery looks - that does mean though, that I will have to restrain myself from using it until then :(

Yet, I still managed to get a good set of swatches out of the lovely i-Divine palette, just so I could get a really good look at what all the glittery colours, and of course so I could show them all to you too!

(Sorry that you can't really see the ones on the left - the sun was pretty bright, and the shadows are quite light anyway!)

Obviously though, I can't really fully comment on quality and all those others bits and pieces in terms of this palette ; I'm pretty hopeful though, that this product will live up to the high expectations I have of Sleek's range, and from what I have seen whilst swatching the shadows (they were all pretty pigmented considering the palette only cost £8!), I just can't wait to get wearing the shadows properly on my holiday...
