I will say from the off that I'm not all too sure where this post is actually going to go, other than down the route of some things that I have bought or received recently. You see, when looking through the bits and bobs that I have recently bought, it turned out to be a bit of a random mix - mostly, I have just bought a heck of a lot of shirts and blouses, so I thought it only right to mention those in this post. But then, I have also purchased such things as earrings, as well as also receiving some more adorable socks from my favourite sock brand (their socks are just the comfiest thing ever!), Happy Socks...
Hence why I thought I would just compile everything together in a bit of a random way, as you will probably see...
Shirts. Well, it turns out that I like to buy a lot of them, and in all honesty I think my shirt buying has probably got out of hand more so recently due to repressed annoyance at constantly having to wear jumpers and sweatshirts for the past few months. Now that Spring is pretty much here (the sun has actually come out on a couple of occasions, how exciting) I have certainly made the most of being able to go out and buy something other than knitwear - and quite clearly, shirts are now my new thing to buy and wear!
I'm not going to mention all of my shirts and blouses here, as it would probably take too long... so instead, I will probably just mention a few of my favourite recent purchases. Of course though, I really must start with a couple of bargain shirts that I bought from Hollister just a couple of weeks ago - these shirts were in fact meant to cost about £30, but due to them being at the back of the store in the sale section, they literally only cost about £7 or £8 each, which meant that I just couldn't resist the bargain and had to buy them. You can see one of the shirts in question above, and also one below, and I should also note that I bought both shirts in a medium so that they are nice and oversized, and will look pretty relaxed when worn with jeans etc.
The other shirt (I suppose that it is more of a blouse actually) that I will mention today, is a very cute floral number that you can see in the below image. I purchased this blouse from Harper&Lewis, which is a vintage clothes store in Birmingham, and sells the coolest clothing items for those who love vintage and retro fashion, like myself. Anyway, as soon as I saw this shirt I immediately fell in love - it did cost me about £25, but isn't used like a lot of vintage items, and instead is brand new, and just made in a cute retro style. I personally just adore the colour of this shirt, as well as it floaty style, and just know that it will look really lovely when worn throughout the spring and summer months!
I also picked up a couple of really cute pairs of earrings from Harper&Lewis too - one pair being just a sort of circular style with a cool blue pattern on (and they also say 'hello' on the back of each one which just adds to the cuteness ever more), and the other being of the dangly leaf variety. Both pairs however, are again just really vintage-looking, hence why I love them and have been wearing them so frequently since I purchased them a couple of weeks ago!
Finally, I will also mention the cute little delivery of goodies that I received from Happy Socks rather recently too. As you may well know, I have had the pleasure of working with Happy Socks before, and they kindly sent me a few more of their items the other week for me to also try out - my favourite item definitely has to be the super cool cherry socks that you can see in the below photo (they are so cosy!!), although I really do love the look of the giraffe patterned liner socks too, considering that I do wear a lot of trainers etc.
Again, I'm sorry that the mix of items in this post was a bit random, but I don't feel like I share enough of my clothing and accessory purchases with you all, so by sharing a few more of them today, I hopefully put right that wrong!
