When recently sorting through all my skincare bits and bobs, I decided to round up the main products that I use on my skin, and create a bit of a post about them. Upon looking, I found 5 particular products that I use on a daily basis (or thereabouts), and will now go on to tell you a little about each one of them...
Garnier Micellar Water- I use this stuff every single day to remove my makeup and to cleanse with, and trust me it's amazing! You get quite a big bottle of this Micellar water for quite a fair price (about £4, but you can get it on offer a lot of the time too), and despite the fact that I use this product day in, day out, it still takes me ages to get through a full bottle. Using this cleanser leaves my skin feeling incredibly clean and fresh after a day of wearing makeup, or in the morning when my skin feels tired and grotty after hours of sleep- hence why I certainly couldn't live without it!
Pure Moisturiser- this moisturiser came from my M&S Advent Calendar and is again, fantastic at serving its purpose. The grape scent alone makes this product appealing, let alone the fact that it keeps my skin feeling soft throughout the day, and of a night also. I tend to just rub this cream all over my face and a bit onto my neck, to stop dryness or help get rid of it. However, my bottle of this product is only small, so I am a bit worried that it will run out soon!
Pixi Glow Tonic- I recieved this smaller bottle also as a part of my M&S Advent Calendar last December, and have been utterly obsessed with using it ever since. It's kind of on the pricey side of face products, but a little of this stuff goes a long way- it's exfoliating properties get into all the hidden pores and remove all those nasty dregs of makeup in no time at all! Plus, it doesn't break me out as so many other exfoliators like this do, so I know that I can use it often to clean my skin and stop any lurking blemishes in their tracks.
Ren Facial- I also received this little thing in my M&S Advent Calendar, but have only recently started using it. How I wish I had heard about this product before though- all you have to do for application is rub some of the product onto your face, dab some water on top, and then wait a couple of minutes before cleaning off. This facial product is so quick and easy to use, and leaves your skin feeling totally refreshed (especially as it contains elements of Vitamin C), as well as helping it look more awake during the colder months.
Bio Oil- this stuff has also been a bit of a saviour of mine, as I got some for use on a scar a while back and have been using it ever since. You may have seen adverts about Bio Oil, stating that it gets rid of your scars- well, not only does it do that (if you use it everyday), but for me if I rub a bit onto my face every few days it also clears up some of my discoloured patches, and also gets rid of scars from spots etc. Again, this stuff is quite expensive, but I have had this particular bottle for a couple of years now and I haven't even got through half yet; which shows just the sort of value for money you are getting when buying Bio Oil.
Well, there are the 5 items that I highly regard as my Skin Care Saviours at the moment. I do try my hardest to look after my skin, and with typical teenage combination skin that can be a bit of a task, but using the above products does help me out a little with keeping my skin clear (or as clear as possible).
