I really am very much in love with Makeup Revolution and it's products- not only is their entire range incredible value for money, but it's also fantastic quality (I would even go so far as to say that some of their products hold the same quality, or a higher quality than that of some of the higher end products I own or have tried in the past). Two of those particularly good Makeup Revolution products, are those that I recently picked up: those being the Vivid Baked Blusher and Vivid Baked Highlighter, which I will now go on to tell you more about...
My Vivid Baked Blush is in the shade Hard Day and cost just £2.50, which I have to say is probably one of the cheapest prices that I have personally found blushers to be. The lovely colour and shade of this Blusher caught my eye immediately on the Makeup Revolution stand, and for such a cheap price I just knew I had to own it! When I dust a little of this blusher onto my cheeks, it appears as quite a nice, subtle pink which is exactly what I was hoping for upon first seeing the product. However, if you do want to go a bit brighter or bolder with your cheek colour, Makeup Revolution also offer lots of other shades (that are also in the same cute, little marble effect of the one above). For £2.50 though, you definitely can't go wrong with this Blusher - not only is it good quality, but it's little size makes it perfect for travelling or just popping in your handbag.
My Vivid Baked Highlighter is in the shade Golden Lights and cost only £3! Yes, just £3. I was pretty shocked myself when I saw that this product cost so little, especially when I tested it out on my hand to find a gorgeously luminous layer of Highlighter appear on my skin. There is so much of this product in the little pot for only £3, and due to its vibrance you only have to use a little of it for each application (as you can see below, when I swatched this Highlighter on my hand, it came out on the skin in quite a standout way). This product is also incredibly easy to blend into the skin, so you don't have to worry about it looking too bright or pasty- a little blending with your fingers, or a brush creates a simply lovely dewy makeup look perfect for the spring and summer!
Overall though, I definitely want to get my hands on more Makeup Revolution products in the future, and would definitely recommend them to any of you as fantastic alternatives to otherwise expensive products! I have also talked about my Makeup Revolution Eyeshadow Palette in the past, which was also great quality, with each shadow being very pigmented- just like the two products that I mentioned today, which goes to show how good a product you can get for just a few pounds.
