Yes I bought the handbag below for £25, which was fantastic considering my voucher was worth £25. It isn't a large bag nor small, and is in fact somewhere in between as I do own a few massive handbags so wanted a smaller one for if I'm just going out shopping etc. With a little handle, and a long on for your shoulder, it pretty much ticked all the boxes for me;not to mention the loads of zip pockets that it also has.
So after switching some of the stuff from my old bag to this one, I thought I would tell you all about the sort of things I actually have in my handbag...
Purse-this is also from River Island, and again is black. I really love the accessories that they sell in River Island (but you all probably guessed that) as they last for ages and are pretty reasonable priced. This particular purse is perfect as it has a lot of pockets and lots of card slots etc.
Umbrella-with the weather being as it so famously is in the UK, it's quite obvious why I have this in my bag. I hate umbrellas to be honest, as it seems that no one has invented one that doesn't blow inside out in a small gust of wind, but even so they are still a necessity here seeing as it has been raining non stop for over a month now.
Make-up-I normally just pop in the lip product that I am wearing on each certain day and a pot of concealer in case a sneaky spot emerges through. Right now, my most often worn lip combo is the Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Nude and the NYX Lip Liner in Peekaboo Neutral. My concealer is also the Benefit Boing-which happens to be my favourite concealing product (only a millimetre ahead of the Perfection Lasting Concealer though!).
Hand Cream-my hands get incredibly chapped and sore, especially in the winter months, so it's good to always have a hand cream in my bag. This Soap&Glory one is pretty good, and it's very practical in this small sized bottle that I got for Christmas.
Phone-this is pretty much in my bag most of the time when I'm out, or in my hand/pocket, but seeing as I'm taking my blog photos with it right now it can't really appear in these images...
And that's all I really carry around with me on a daily basis (aside from tissues, plasters and other bits and bobs that I thought wouldn't be very interesting in this post!)
I hope you enjoyed having little nosey in my new bag,
