Benefit Skin Care

Wednesday, 6 January 2016

Benefit are known for their never ending mass of amazing beauty products. The mascaras that wow. The primers and concealers that hide every imperfection. But, what happens when they try their hand at skin care? I had passed a glance or two at their skin care range several times but thought nothing of it, and was instead immediately drawn in by the rows of pretty cosmetic sets and products. Yet, it was only upon receiving the set for Christmas that I saw what I had been missing out on, and decided to share my love of the Benefit Skin Care range with you all today...

The set that I received was the B.right skin care starter set, that costs around £18 from BootsDebenhams and the Benefit Website itself. It contains six skin products (as you can see above), that all differ in properties and purposes.

I love the Facial Cream, because due to its little pot I can easily store it in my toiletry bag when I go away for the weekend or on a longer holiday. It also keeps my skin feeling fresh and moisturised (always helpful when it is a moisturising product) which is fantastic, especially when I'm away and constantly on the move.

The Eye Cream is also pretty handy, as it quickly gives my eyes a boost when they are feeling a little tired and weary. Obviously, it doesn't completely wipe out black circles or bags, but it does definitely make my eyes look a bit more awake after a long day or amidst an early start.

I am yet to try the Facial Emulsion, but I'm sure it will be just as good as the rest of the products in this set-it also contains an SPF which will be great to use when I'm finally on holiday in the sunshine. The Facial Wash will also prove useful on holiday, as again I will simply pop it in my toiletry bag and use in when and where.

The Facial Lotion is great to use after cleansing and moisturising, and it again leaves my skin feeling very fresh and clean. Exfoliating properties are also something I love in a face product, and the Facial Polish has this down to a tee. Because of its small bottle, I just use a little of the product at a time, but in this case a little goes a long way, and seems to clear out my pores in no time at all.

I hope that gave you all a insight into what Benefit can offer in terms of skin care...

Thank you for reading,

Olivia xo
